Trio TLB
Terranova - Lété - Bonfils

«Triple Cross»

To let live and make live the common musical idea in the immediacy of the moment: this is the motto of the trio TLB.
The experience is singular in that the time of perception coincides naturally with that of a "composition" without scope or pencil, a "partition" without partition, composed in real time. Let's call it Jazz if you want, in the most literal sense, that of the art of improvisation.

The originality of these three musicians lies in their way of reversing the balance between thematic and improvisation. It is no longer the theme that determines the architecture of the chorus by its grid or its color, but the improvised music that builds structures formed in the spontaneity of a space of shared time.
The music, based on listening, complicity, interplay, is based on the quest for what, at any moment, is likely to be born without any repetition.
It is less for this trio to interpret themes than to approach and touch them.
Sometimes it is a standard that appears without warning, freed from its line and its original form. Depending on the musical situations proposed and chosen, the notions of soloists and accompaniers are reversed.

At the antipodes of any academicism, Terranova, Lété and Bonfils know how to mix lyricism and humor, poetry and extravagance.
